UPSC Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam 2014. UPSC has released notification for Special Class Railway Apprentice Exam 2014 for recruitment as "Special Class Apprentice in Mechanical Department in Indian Railways" . The Exam is also called as SCRA Exam 2014. Eligible candidates should apply online between 5th Oct 2013 and 4th Nov 2013.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Examination and Personality Test. Written Examination will be conducted for 600 Marks in three papers containing 200 Marks each. Personality Test will be for 200 Marks for those who qualify in Written Exam.

Candidates should apply online through the UPSC Website http://upsconline.nic.in between 5th Oct 2013 and 4th Nov 2013. Candidates should keep the Printout copy of the online application after submission.
Candidates should apply first Part-I and Part-II. First submit Part-I and obtain your Registration ID (RID). then Pay Fees. and then apply for Part-II.

Age Limit:
Candidates with in the age group of 17-21 Years as on 1st Jan 2014 can apply i.e., must not have born earlier than 2nd Jan 1993 and not later than 1st Jan 1997. Upper Age limit is relaxable as per norms.
Educational Qualifications:
Should have passed Intermediate or Equivalent Exam in Second Division with Mathematics as a tleast One Subject and Physics or Chemistry as subjects of Exam. Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects.
Fees:
Candidates (Except SC/ST/PH/Female who are exempted for payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs.100 either by depositing the money at any SBI Branch or State Bank of Hyderabad or State Bank of Bikaneer, or State Bank of Jaipur or State Bank associated banks or by using Net facility using Debit/Credit Cards.
