Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on last date of receipt of application. Relaxation of age is applicable as per norms.
Educational Qualification: Three Years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by Central or State Government.
Selection Process:
The selection process consisting of Two Phases. 1st Phase is Written Examination consisting of 100 Marks. 2nd Phase is certificates verification, Physical standard Test and Medical Examination.
How to Apply:
Application duly filled up in the given format may be sent to any one of the addresses nearest to the candidate within 30 days from the date of publication of advertisement in the Employment News.Three recent passport size photographs should be attached to the application.One each photograph to be affixed on the application form and admit card and third one to be kept in record. Two self-addressed envelopes of size of 25 x12 ems with postal stamp worth Rs. 39/- each should also be attached with the application form. The envelope containing application must be super scribed in bold letters as "APPLICATION FOR RECRUITMENT OF SUB-INSPECTOR/JUNIOR ENGINEER( ELECTRICAL) IN BSF ENGG SET UP-2013.
Mode of Payment of Fee:
Each application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft/Postal Order for Rs. 50/- (fifty) as examination fee in favour of the addressee to whom the application is addressed, payable at respective SBI/Post Office at the location or nearby station. However, fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, BSF Candidates, Ex-Servicemen.
