Age Limit:
Candidates Age be in the Age group of 18-33 Years for UR Category, 18-36 for OBC Cateogry, 18-38 for SC/ST Category as on 1-1-2014. For Other Relaxations refer the notification.
Educational Qualification:
Minimum 10th Pass or ITI or Equivalent at the time of applying. Candidates with higher education qualification can also apply.
Selection Process:
The recruitment process consists of Written Examination followed by Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination. The written examination shall be of 1 1/2 Hours duration based on 10th Standard syllabus consisting of 100 Multiple choice objective type questions. There will be 1/3 Marks deduction for Wrong Answers.
Application Fees Rs.100/-:
- The Examination fee is Rs. 100 only. Examination fee is exempted for SC, ST, Ex-Service man, Women, Minority and Economically Backward Classes. Minorities means Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Zoroastrians.
- Fee of Rs.100/- in the crossed Demand Draft from SBI or its Associate Banks drawn in favour of
the Assistant Personnel Officer/ recruitment, RRC, chennai – 600008 and Payable at Chennai.
- For the Candidates applying online: They can pay the fees with the Challan generated after registering the application online. They can pay fee at any SBI Branches or Head Post Offices.
- For the candidates applying offline (Manually): Fee can be paid in the form of Demand Drafts drawn from any State Bank Branches in favor of "The Associate Personal Officer, Recruitment RRC, Chennai 600008" payable at Chennai. On the reverse of the DD the following details should be written: "Employment Notice No. RRC 02/2013 and the Name and Postal Address of the Candidate."
