AIESL invites eligible Indian nationals for Walk-in Interview at HYDERABAD, BENGALURU and CHENNAI for engagement as AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN (B1) (Maintenance/Overhaul/Engine/ Airframe), AIRCRAFT TECHNICIAN (B2) (Avionics) on fixed term contract basis (extendable up to 58 years of age) for FIVE years in Southern Region. Vacancies are tentative and may increase/decrease and engaging of candidates from shortlisted panel would depend upon the requirement of AIESL.

AIESL 40 Aircraft Technicians 2024 Age Limit - Duration - Emoluments

a) Maximum Age Limit: (As on 01.04.2024) - General/EWS-35 Yrs., OBC-38 Yrs. and SC / ST- 40 Yrs. Age relaxation to Ex-Service men will be permitted as per Govt. directives in this regard.

b) Duration of Contract: Fixed Term Contract would be initially for a period of 05 (Five) years and extendable for further periods of 05 (Five) years upto 58 years of age, depending upon requirement of the company and performance of the candidates.

c) Emoluments: Will be minimum Rs. 27,940/- at the time of joining and will commensurate with company policy. Increments will also be applicable as per company policy after joining in AIESL.

AIESL 40 Aircraft Technicians 2024 Eligibility- Educational Qualifications


Minimum Eligibility Criteria

Aircraft Technician(B1)

For all candidates other than Ex-servicemen:
AME  Diploma/Certificate  in  Aircraft  Maintenance  Engineering (02 or 03 years) in Mechanical stream from Training Institutions approved by DGCA with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
Diploma      in      Engineering        (3  years)        in  Mechanical/ Aeronautical    Engineering    or     equivalent     recognized    by Central/State  Government  with  60%   marks/equivalent  grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
For Ex-servicemen
Successful   completion   of   Group    I   and/or   II   or   4   years course/Diploma   or    equivalent   qualification   of  Diploma   in Engineering in Airframe / Engine trades conducted by the Indian Air Force/Navy/Army, which are acceptable as a qualification by DGCA for fulfilling  the  eligibility  requirement  as  per  CAR  66 criteria.

Post Qualification recent EXPERIENCE (within 05 Years)
Candidates must have minimum one year aviation experience.
Or
Successful completion of national apprenticeship with hands on working in aviation industry. (Minimum one year duration).
Aviation experience in carrying out preflight checks, snag rectification, component replacements  and repairs in engine and airframe systems will be given preference.

Aircraft Technician(B2)

For all candidates other than Ex-servicemen:
AME  Diploma/Certificate  in  Aircraft  Maintenance  Engineering (02 or 03 years) in Avionics stream from Training  Institutions approved by DGCA with 60% marks/equivalent grade (55% or equivalent grade for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
Or
Diploma in Engineering (3years)   in   Electrical/Electronics/ Telecommunication/   Radio/    Instrumentation   Engineering    or equivalent recognized  by Central/State  Government  with  60% marks/equivalent grade (55%  or  equivalent  grade  for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
For Ex-servicemen
Successful   completion of  Group I  and/or II or 4 years course/Diploma   or    equivalent   qualification   of  Diploma   in Engineering in Airframe / Engine trades conducted by the Indian Air Force/Navy/Army, which are acceptable as a qualification by DGCA for fulfilling  the  eligibility  requirement  as  per  CAR  66 criteria.

AIESL 40 Aircraft Technicians 2024 Application Process - Fee

Interested candidates meeting the above eligibility criteria, as on 01.04.2024 may attend the Walk-in Interview at any one location - Hyderabad or Bengaluru or Chennai, with necessary documents and non-refundable processing fee (DD). Those eligible and applying for more than one post have to fill separate application along with separate DD.

Candidates have to bring following original documents on the day of Walk-in along with a set of self attested copies:
  • . All original qualification (Education & Technical) certificates as per eligibility criteria.
  • . All original experience certificates.
  • . Proof for Date of Birth.
  • . Proof for Permanent and Present Address.
  • . 2 recent Passport Size photographs.

Non-refundable application and processing fee (DD) of Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand Only) for GEN., EWS and OBC candidates & Rs.500/- (Rupees five Hundred only) for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates towards processing fees, by means of A/C Payee Demand Draft in favour of “AI Engineering Services Limited” payable at Hyderabad. Note: ** This Walk-in interview for Southern Region, Hyderabad Base (Chennai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad) is independent of recruitment exercise for similar cadre by other bases of AIESL.


** In case of reporting of large number of candidates, the selection process may spread over successive day(s). Candidates are advised to take a note of this as they may have to stay back at their own cost and arrangements. Management may also decide to call the candidates later, if necessary.

Instructions to Candidates

Candidates are advised to go through the following instructions for Walk-in

a) A recent (not more than three months old) colored passport-size photograph of the full face (front view) should be pasted neatly in the space provided in the Application Form.

b) Candidates belonging to OBC categories, at the time of walk-in interview, must submit a self–attested photocopy of the Non-Creamy Layer Certificate, recently issued by the Competent Authority in the format as prescribed by Govt. of India. The Certificate, inter alia, must specifically state that the candidate does not belong to socially advanced sections excluded from the benefits of reservations for OBC in civil posts and services under the Government of India. The Certificate should also contain the “Non-Creamy Layer” Clause. The Certificate produced by the candidates of OBC community should be as per the Central List published by the Government of India and not as per the State Lists.

c) The applicant should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria as on 01.04.2024. Other particulars furnished should be correct in all respects. At any stage of the selection process, if the particulars provided by the candidates in the application or testimonials supplied are found incorrect/false, or not meeting with the eligibility requirements prescribed for the posts, the candidature is liable to be rejected and, if engaged, services terminated, without giving any notice or reasons therefore.

d) Self-attested clear copies of the supportive documents in respect of educational qualification, relevant trade in the industry, experience etc. must be submitted along with the Application. Self –attested photocopy of the Caste Certificate should also be attached with the application, in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates and income and assets certificate issued by competent authority for EWS candidates.

e) Original certificates are required to be brought, at the time of Walk-In Interview, for verification purpose only, and original should not be submitted/attached along with the Application. The Company is not responsible for returning any original copies of certificates/testimonials if submitted with the application.

f) Applicants working in Government/Semi-Government/Public Sector Undertakings or autonomous bodies must bring ‘No Objection Certificate” specifying the post and AIESL company name in NOC, from their present employer.

d) The contract may be terminated at the discretion of the Management during the tenure of the contractand / or in the event of unsatisfactory performance.

e) The contract is extendable for further term of 5 years each depending upon satisfactory performance of the candidate and requirement of the company.

f) Candidates engaged on fixed-terms contract basis will be entitled for Provident Fund, Gratuity, and other welfare benefits as per policy of the company.

AIESL Selection Process 2024

SELECTION PROCEDURE:- Selection will be through the process of Preliminary screening, Technical Assessment and Interview in two stages. Those qualifying in 1st stage at Bengaluru/Chennai/Hyderabad for Aircraft Technician (B1/B2) vacancies will again be required to attend 2nd stage at Hyderabad.
