General Instructions for Candidates

a. Candidates are required to go through the Notification meticulously and decide themselves as to their eligibility with reference to the laid down criteria for this recruitment carefully, before applying and filling in all the relevant columns in the Online Application Form.

b. Applications received online shall only be considered and the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) will not be responsible for any kind of discrepancy.

c. TSLPRB will not be responsible for any inconsistencies or errors in the Application submitted online. Candidates are advised to strictly follow the instructions in their own interest and to verify the contents before submitting the Online Application Form.

d. Particulars furnished by the Candidates in the Online Application Form will be taken as final. Candidates should therefore, be very careful in uploading / submitting the Online Application Form.

e. No relevant column of the Application Form should be left blank. Incomplete / Incorrect Online Application Form will be summarily rejected. Information, if any, furnished by the Candidate subsequently in any form will not be entertained by the TSLPRB under any circumstances. Candidates should be careful in filling-up the Online Application Form before submission. If any lapse is detected at any stage of the recruitment process, the candidature will be rejected.

f. Candidates should not furnish any particulars that are false, tampered or fabricated. They shall not suppress or conceal any material information while filling the Application Form online. In case, if it is found at a later date that any false information has been provided, punitive action will be taken as per law.

g. Candidates are expected to behave in an orderly and disciplined manner while appearing for the Test / Certificates Verification. Any impersonation will be viewed adversely and such Candidates shall be criminally prosecuted besides being disqualified.

h. All the testimonials issued by the competent authorities shall compulsorily be produced as and when required. If the Candidate fails to produce the same, his / her candidature will be rejected / disqualified without any further correspondence.

i. The claim of the Candidates with regard to the Age, Date of Birth, Educational Qualifications, Community etc., are accepted only provisionally based on the information furnished by them in their Online Application Form and Certificates produced, subject to verification and satisfaction of the TSLPRB, at an appropriate time. Mere acceptance of Application, admission to any Exam or inclusion of a Candidate in a Qualified Candidates List does not confer any right for selection. The candidature is therefore, provisional at all stages and the TSLPRB reserve the right to reject his / her candidature at any stage of the selection without giving any notice.

j. If Candidates who are Under-Aged or Over-Aged apply for this Recruitment Notification, their candidature will be rejected at any time and TSLPRB is not responsible for the same. Fee once paid will not be refunded.

k. As candidature for the recruitment is processed through Computer / Electronic devices, based on the particulars furnished in the Online Application Form, the Candidates are advised to fill in all the relevant particulars carefully

Fee Payment Online Process

I Step: Candidate has to register on the TSLPRB Website -www.tgprb.inby making his / her Mobile Number as his / her User ID. Candidates are advised to provide only such Mobile Number as their Login ID which will be in currency throughout the process of recruitment and will be in their personal custody. It shall be their responsibility to ensure that this number is maintained continuously without any interruption throughout the process of recruitment, so that there will not be any loss of communication between the Board and the Candidates.

II Step: The fee can be paid by using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or any other mode to be made available on the TSLPRB Website.

III Step: After making the Payment, it shall be the responsibility of the Candidate to visit the website www.tgprb.in to submit the Online Application Form along with a scanned copy of Passport Size Photo + specimen Signature combined as one file / image in jpg format. Even after making payment of Fee, if the Candidate fails to press submit button and the Application is not uploaded, such Applications shall be rejected without giving any notice and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.

How to Apply Online for TGSRTC Recruitment 2025

a) Candidates are requested to check their eligibility carefully and fill-in all the relevant columns in the Online Application Form. Candidates should not register more than one Application Form for the present Recruitment Process. Submission of more than one application for this recruitment will lead to cancellation of all such Applications.

b) The following steps are to be followed by the Candidates who intend to submit the online Application Form through Payment Gateway -
  • i. Registration using Mobile Phone as User ID
  • ii. Select the Post(s) for which he / she wants to apply as per the eligibility
  • iii. Note the Fee that has to be paid depending on the Post/s chosen
  • iv. Payment of Fee using any mode made available
  • v. Continue on TSLPRB Website with the User ID and fill the Application Form
  • vi. Scan and Upload copy of Passport Photograph and Specimen Signature as one file
  • vii. Submit the Application Form
c) Candidate have to fill up Model (Dummy) Application Form provided in the official website www.tgprb.in which will help them in filling the Online Application without any omissions, based on the relevant certificates

d) Candidates should keep ready a soft copy of his / her passport size photo + specimen signature combined as one file image in jpg format as shown below to be scanned and upload with the Online Application Form.

e) Application will be rejected, if the Candidate uploads only Photo without Signature. Size of the above image / file should not exceed 100kb (Minimum size is 30 kb). Please note that if the file is not in jpg format, system will reject the same and Candidate may not be able to complete the process of filling up the remaining details of the Online Application Form.

f) After payment of Fee, Candidates can use the "Apply Online" in the main menu option in the website (www.tgprb.in) to fill his / her Online Application Form.

g) Candidates are advised to fill their Online Application Form themselves instead of handing it over to others to avoid any wrong entries. If their Online Application Form is being filled by some other person the Candidate should personally be available and ensure that the entries are made correctly and Online Application is uploaded successfully.

h) Candidates are advised to carefully read all the instructions and understand before clicking on "I AGREE".

i) Candidates should endorse the declaration at the end of the Online Application signifying the fact that they have read and understood all the Rules and Regulations and that they agree to scrupulously abide by them and confirm with an OTP (One Time Password) sent to the Candidate’s Registered Mobile.

Eligibility for Drivers in TGSRTC Recruitment 2025

12A. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR DRIVERS (POST CODE 45)
A. Gender: Men and Women are eligible for the Post of Drivers.


B. Age Limit (General)
i) Drivers (Post Code No. 45): Must have attained the age of 22 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 1st July, 2025. However, Telangana Government vide GO Ms No. 30, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 08-02-2024 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 12 (twelve) years to various categories of the Posts to be notified for the purpose of direct recruitment. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

ii)  Relaxations  in  Upper  Age  Limit:  The  Upper  age  limit  prescribed  above  is however relaxable in the following cases -
  • SCs, STs, BCs and EWS category 5 (five) Years
  • Ex-Servicemen (Served in Indian Army / Indian Navy / Indian Air Force / Indian Territorial Army) 3 (three) Years in addition to the length of Service rendered in the Armed Forces
C. Educational Qualification: Must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 1st July 2025.


D. Driving Licence: Must have possessed a valid driving licence for driving Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicle (HPMV) and Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) or Transport Vehicle continuously for a period not less than 18 months as on the date of Notification i.e., 17th September 2025.

Note: Persons who are former Members of Defence Service of India may be permitted to count the period for which they have held a Military Heavy Duty Vehicle Licence towards the period prescribed.

Eligibility for Shramiks in TGSRTC Recruitment 2025

12B. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR SHRAMIKS (POST CODE 46)

A. Gender: Men and Women are eligible for the Post of Shramiks.

B. Age Limit (General): Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years as on 1st July, 2025. However, Telangana Government vide GO Ms No. 30, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 08-02-2024 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 12 (twelve) years to the various categories of the Posts to be notified for the purpose of direct recruitment. 

This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.
iii) Relaxations in Upper Age Limit: The Upper age limit prescribed above is however relaxable in the following cases

D. Medical Standards: The Candidate must be in good health mentally, bodily and free from any defect likely to interfere for efficient performance of his / her duties

TGSRTC Drivers Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR DRIVERS (POST CODE 45)
Admit Card / Intimation Letter: Candidates who applied for the Post of Drivers will be informed the dates for downloading the Admit Card / Intimation letter through the website www.tgprb.in for appearing in the Physical Measurement Test and Driving Test along with Certificates Verification with details of Venue, Date and Time. 

Candidates should bring all the original documents including Driving Licence and two sets of photocopies along with Admit Card / Intimation Letter while attending the Driving Test.

A) Physical Measurement Test: All the eligible registered Candidates shall be required to
appear for the Physical Measurement Test and should meet the requirement that must not be less than 160 Cms in height.
The Candidates who qualify in the Physical Measurement Test shall have to appear for Certificates Verification on the same day.


B) Driving Test: The Candidates who are found eligible basing on the verification of documents shall be required to appear and qualify in a Driving Test. The Chairman, Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board will constitute a Committee for conducting this Test with the Officers from Police Transport Organization, Road Transport Corporation and Road Transport Authority.

Candidates must qualify in the Driving Test carrying a maximum of 60 marks in 7 (seven) parameters mentioned below, out of which at least 30 marks must be obtained. If a Candidate secures less than the prescribed minimum marks in three or more parameters he / she would be deemed to have failed in the test even though he /she secures minimum marks i.e., 30 marks in the aggregate.

C) Weightage marks: Candidates shall be awarded 40 marks as Weightage on basis of the Academic Qualifications and driving licence experience, as specified below -

e) Candidates  who  possess  Heavy  Passenger  Motor Vehicle (HPMV) and Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) or Transport Vehicle continuously for a period of full 48 (Forty Eight) months and above as on date of Notification 25 Marks

D) Minimum Qualifying Marks: The minimum marks to be secured by the Candidates in order to qualify in the aggregative score of Driving Test and Weightage marks, is 50% for OCs including EWS, 45% for BCs and 40% for SCs / STs, out of 100 marks.

E) Selection: Selection of the Candidates who got minimum qualifying marks, shall be made strictly on their relative merit, as obtained by them based on their aggregate score of the Driving Test (60 Marks) and Weightage Marks (40 Marks) aggregating to a total of 100 Marks. 

While filling up the vacancies, the first 5% of the Posts shall be filled following combined Qualified Candidates List (in descending order of marks obtained) of the Candidates and thereafter, the remaining 95% of the Posts shall be filled up by local Candidates of respective districts of contiguous district cadre and as per the ratios basing on the population of the local districts in each contiguous district cadre.

TGSRTC Shramiks Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR SHRAMIKS (POST CODE 46)

Intimation Letter / Admit Card: Candidates who applied for the Post of Shramik will be informed the dates for downloading the Admit Card / Intimation letter through the website www.tgprb.infor appearing to the Certificates Verification with details of Venue, Date and Time. 

Candidates should bring all the original documents and two sets of photocopies along with Admit Card / Intimation letter while attending the Certificates Verification.

A) Weightage marks: Candidates who are found eligible based on Certificates Verification shall be awarded 100 marks as Weightage on basis of the Academic Qualifications and Apprenticeship Certificate by NAC, as specified below
