"I wish to inform that the school-wise details of staff to be adjusted are prepared and communicated taking into consideration of the following norms.
- 1. The Secondary Grade Teacher posts in high schools have been shifted to primary and upper primary schools as per requirement/ staffing pattern approved by Government.
- 2. U-DISE data of 2012-13 has been taken as base for adjustment of posts.
- 3. The surplus posts have been adjusted to the needy schools as per requirement and norms.
- 4. The surplus SGT posts were adjusted in upper primary schools against the posts of School Assistants and Language Pandits as per norms where there is a deficit of posts.
- 5. If there are still excess posts of SGTs after exhausting in primary and upper primary schools as per norms, those posts have been allotted to primary schools duly arranging the schools in descending order of enrolment.
- Hence, I request you to take up the process of rationalization as per the schedule and guidelines to be communicated by Commissioner& Director of School Education. If there are any discrepancies noticed, the posts may be adjusted as per need. Care shall be taken in case of showing fake enrolment in order to retain some posts in schools. After rationalization it shall be ensured that there is no zero teachers schools in the district. Surplus posts may be adjusted in respect of schools having parallel sections with other media.
