Border Security Force has issued notification for Recruitment of 103 Asst Sub Inspector(RM), 685 Head Constable (Radio Operator) & 23 HC/Fitter in BSF Communication Set Up Wing. Total Posts are 411 excluding Ex Service Men, Compassionate, Dept Posts. Candidates with 10+2, Diploma in respective groups are eligible. Last date of receipt of application forms is fixed on 30 Sept 2013.
Age Limit:
(i) Not below 18 years or over 25 years as on 30 September 2013 for General Category
(ii) Not below 18 years or over 28 years as on 30 September 2013 for OBC Category
(iii) Not below 18 years or over 30 years as on 30 September 2013 for SC & ST Category
10+2 or Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of Fifty percent with selective subject being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution.

Matriculation or equivalent and two year Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics or Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution.

Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board or Institution and Two years Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Engine Fitter or Diesel Mechanic or Automobile or Motor Mechanic from an institution recognized by State or Central Government or Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or Institution
Recruitment Dates :
i) Self-attested photo copies of educational qualifications and date of birth.
ii) Three recent passport size photographs, duly self-attested, One each to be pasted on the application form and admission card and third one to be attached with application form.

vi) Copy of certificates in support of claim of Hill area candidate/Adivasis/Tribals etc for Relaxation in height or chest as prescribed for such candidates as per Appx-‘E’.
vii) Two self-addressed envelopes of 25x12 cms size with full postal address candidate neatly written on envelope in Capital letters duly affixed stamps of Rs. 27/- on each.

The written examination of 3 hrs duration will be conducted at the selection centers on the date and time to be fixed by HQ DG BSF. The result of written test qualified candidates will be announced through internet and uploaded on BSF web site www.bsf.nic.in on or before 15 days of commencement of second phase, No separate call letter will be issued to candidates who qualified written examination for second phase.
b) SECOND PHASE :- 23 December 2013 (PST, PET Documentation, Dictation test, interview and Final Medical)
